In 2009, the Foundation limited its new grantmaking to environmental projects. Listed below are grants approved in prior years.

Cesar E. Chavez Institute $20,000
San Francisco, CA

One time grant to develop new family interventions and a new family-related model of care to reduce the risk for HIV and mental health problems in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth.
(Second payment of a $75,000 grant.)

Update

The Foundation annually alternates its new grantmaking between its Mental Health, AIDS and Environmental program areas. In 2018, the Foundation will be making new grants in the Mental Health and AIDS program areas. In 2019, the Foundation will be making grants in the Environmental program area.
